I’m not usually a sandwich person, so when my husband wanted to try this place because of its amazing Google reviews, I wasn’t expecting much. But WOW, I was completely blown away! It was SO GOOD! I honestly never thought I’d use the words “SO GOOD” to describe a sandwich, but this place absolutely deserves it! If you’re visiting Palm Springs, this place is a MUST-TRY! Definitely deserves a spot on the Palm Springs must-eat list!

Slightly disappointed with lunch at Sherman’s today…while they are small things, they add up. First, requested the preciously complementary pickles and sauerkraut, but server never brought it. Then, ordered a bowl of chicken soup (very good!), but served without crackers. Finally, ordered a deli sandwich, served without a pickle! And no refills served for glass of iced tea…small things, but they point to unnecessary cutbacks and overworked staff…

This place is good to have a nice Mexican food. We had a business meeting/dinner here. Had a resevation, and we got seated right away. The food is good, but not that great, at least the one that I had especially for the price. They had a lot of choices for alcoholoc drinks. Nice ambience, but not something that I will recommend to friends when gping to Palm Springs unless they are looking for choices and want Mexocan food.

An Absolutely Unforgettable Experience at The Tropicale! The Tropicale was EVERYTHING we wanted and more! We visited to celebrate my friend’s 40th birthday, and it was the perfect spot for such a special occasion. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. We were seated inside, where the dim lighting, spacious booths, and gorgeous ambiance created the perfect vibe. Everything just felt right! But let’s talk about the SERVICE, because WOW! Our waiter was beyond impressive. I genuinely miss the days when people took this much pride in customer service, and he reminded me exactly what exceptional hospitality looks like. He was entertaining, passionate, engaging, and clearly loved what he did. He made the entire experience that much more memorable. We absolutely LOVED him! I wish I could remember his name, but that pear martini might have had a little more strength than I anticipated. 😂🍸 Speaking of the pear martini, it was such a beautiful drink! While it packed a punch, it was still a lovely addition to the evening. Now, THE FOOD! I ordered the Pupu Platter as my entrée, and I am not exaggerating when I say this was some of the BEST food I’ve had in a long time! Every bite was delicious. The skewers were cooked perfectly and were incredibly tender. The coconut shrimp were huge, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The ribs? OH. MY. GOODNESS. They had me ready to lick my fingers! 😂 They were that good! And the crispy fried green beans were another standout—perfectly crispy, flavorful, and downright addictive. Even the cucumbers impressed me! You could tell that care went into the food, and the variety on that platter made it such a treat. Between the stunning atmosphere, phenomenal service, delicious food, and overall energy of the restaurant, The Tropicale truly delivered an outstanding experience from beginning to end. We had a reservation, and I absolutely recommend making one so you can plan ahead and enjoy your evening without the stress. I cannot WAIT to come back! The Tropicale helped make my friend’s 40th birthday celebration feel extra special, and it’s safe to say this restaurant has earned a spot on my list of places I want to revisit. If you’re visiting Palm Springs and looking for incredible food, an amazing atmosphere, and service that makes you feel like a valued guest, DO NOT SKIP THE TROPICALE!

Our experience at Lulu Bistro in Palm Springs was nothing short of disappointing. We waited nearly 30 minutes before anyone even approached our table to offer water or take our order. When our server finally arrived, we ordered two entrées, two cocktails, and two teas. Approximately 10 minutes later, only ONE cocktail arrived, with the straw completely sunken into the glass. Meanwhile, the table next to us, whose guests arrived approximately 15 minutes AFTER we did, received prompt attention and had their drinks delivered almost immediately after ordering. After watching other guests receive attentive service while we continued to be overlooked, I finally had to flag down our server to ask about the rest of our drinks and request a proper straw. He eventually returned with just one additional cocktail, completely disregarding the two teas we had ordered. At that point, we had enough. I informed the server that we were no longer interested in staying because we had not been given the opportunity to enjoy a single part of our dining experience. What makes this experience particularly upsetting is the noticeable difference in how we were treated compared to other guests. As people of color, we could not help but question why our table was repeatedly overlooked while others received prompt and attentive service. Palm Springs prides itself on being a welcoming and inclusive community, and establishments operating here should reflect those values through their actions, not just their image. Whether this was poor management, inadequate training, or something more concerning, the experience left us feeling unwelcome and undervalued. I absolutely do not recommend Lulu Bistro. Every paying customer deserves the same level of respect, attention, and hospitality, regardless of their background or skin color. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

Had brunch here on October 18th, 2026. Very disappointed. Usually very good to excellent, but poor service, below average food, and stingy pours of champagne made for a really not great Sunday Brunch. Hope they get it together. It's not to the previous standards.

A magical place, the beating heart of the city at sunrise... You have to be there to understand this city, to watch the sun rise while sipping your Spice Pumpkin Latte before heading out to photograph hummingbirds. Life is better in Palm Springs!

This is a random review, everything went well food and service was great. My issue is while we were waiting to get into our uber, the restaurant was closing btw, a group of guys surrounded my friends and I and started asking what we were doing, if we were going to a party etc. it was pretty strange. an older couple came and told them to leave us alone; they took a few steps back but were still hanging around their car. there was an employee closing the door to the restaurant and as this happened I asked if we could wait inside while we waited for our uber. she very quickly said no, that the guys were leaving (they werent), and she could check the cameras. We walked away with the other couple and got out of there. I thought it was rude and I understand she didn’t have to help us but we are outside your restaurant while this happened so I would assume they would want to help if they could.

After we were given a table next to the stairs—in a messy area where staff carry out their tasks—we asked if we could be moved. The waitress agreed, but only offered us a high-top table (even though there were other tables available in the restaurant). Furthermore, the chairs and tables were shedding white paint onto our clothes, leaving us with no choice but to leave. I regret to say this, but the service does not meet the minimum standards for a meal.It is obvious that they do not care about all their guests, and that they can allow things like this to happen in their restaurant!!
